REPORT:
I went out to Matanzas Inlet today. When I left my house in Ormond the weather was just beautiful. Sure, I checked the weather channel before I left and they did say the winds were 15-20mph but the sun was out and I figured I wouldn't mind it too much. When I got there it was ugly, cloudy and the wind was blowing about 30mph steady. I went out anyway, was able to catch some mullet in a sheltered area on the west coast of the inlet. Just after catching the bait, it started pouring down rain. Here I am, cold, VERY wet and figuring that if I'm willing to put up with these fishing conditions than I certainly deserve to catch something special but all I was able to pull in was this Large Catfish. Sure, Catfish put up a great fight but man I really hate catching those slimy bastards! Also took some photos of lazy floating Pelicans too.
