REPORT:
Fished from 1pm to 3pm, then again from 7pm to 9pm.
1st time out just south of MOW, hooked into 2 rays, both weighed in between 35-40lbs. Didn't catch anything else. Caught them on Bucktails with a 6inch twister tail.
2nd time out, got another cow ray, about the same size. Lost it at the boat when the hook straightened out. Hooked this one the same way.
Funny thing about this is I was trolling for stripers this time. What I mean is I've been trying to catch a ray for a few years now with no success, but this time when trolling for stripers, all I catch are rays. Maybe if I try to catch rays, I'll catch stripers.
I trolled stretch 25s, and bombers also. Am also planning on getting out on Friday morning and trying down by the bay bridge. If I make it out, I'll let ya'll know.
