CHESAPEAKE BAY SYMPOSIUM

STRIPED BASS IN CRISIS?
UNBALANCED BAY THREATENS FOODWEB

7:00 PM SATURDAY NOV. 21, 1998

KENT ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL
STEVENSVILLE, MD

CCA MD, CCA VA, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Chesapeake Bay Acid Rain
Foundation will sponsor a symposium on the unbalanced Chesapeake Bay and its impact on
our marine ecosystem. The purpose of the symposium is to better inform and educate the
public on the health of striped bass, the decline of their forage base, and it’s effects. We will
bring together various experts from government, the environmental community, and the private
sector to present facts and discuss issues, so the public and government can better interact to
develop plans and solutions to their concerns and avoid rumors from a lack of accurate
information.
