Oregon Fishing Report updated for
April 21 - April 27, 2000
Springer fishing on the Columbia near Drano Lake and Wind River is going to be something special. The sturgeon fishing is starting to slow but more oversize fish are beginning to be caught. The salmon season will go one more day on the Willamette and it should be hot! The Clackamas and Sandy River main stems are nothing to brag about but it would be worth trying even though they are running a little cold. The north coast is good for steelhead in the lower sections, not many salmon showing yet. Crabbing is great in Tillamook. The east side is booting out big numbers of bass. The Rogue got good rain last week and that should put springers on the go on the south coast.
